Summer Day Camp 2024:
“All About the Mississippi River”
Wonderland Creative Center’s Summer Art Program is a unique experience where children learn outdoors about art, nature, world cultures and art history. This summer we will explore the rich history of one of the largest rivers in the world! Everyday we will hike through the woods and have free nature play along the shore of the Mississippi River. This summer’s program will focus on the native people and animals who have lived along the river.
In the backyard art studio, children will hear incredible books about native people, animals and nature followed by thoughtful art projects using high-quality materials. Mindfulness and movement meditation are a daily part of the program for a holistic approach to learning. Young artists have the meaningful experience of displaying their artwork in our big backyard gallery on Friday from 3:00-4:00!

“WCC’s summer art camp is magical! Cassandra’s thoughtful curriculum allowed the kids to learn and make art in nature, and gave them the freedom to create and to play at their own pace. The kids were all very proud and excited to show their work to family and friends at the art show at the end of the week. A truly unique summer camp that my daughter loved!”
